Master classes will be held from 4th to 8th of March 2018
The participants of the Festival will have an opportunity to take master classes with 5 different worldwide famous piano teachers:
Prof. Dmitri Bashkirov – Moscow Conservatory, Russia
Prof. Ilja Scheps – Conservatory of Cologne, Aachen/Germany
Prof. Jan Jiracek von Arnim – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Vienna
Prof. Grigory Gruzman – University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar, Germany
Prof. Zhe Tang – Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Shanghai
Prof. Vladimir Ovchinnikov – Moscow Conservatory, Moscow State University, Russia
Prof. Aquiles Delle Vigne – Buenos Aires/Argentina
Prof. Gesa Luecker – University for Music and Dance Cologne, Germany
Each professor will give 45 minutes of individual lesson to the active participants of the master classes, altogether 5 lessons.
Priorities of active participants:
The development of musical style and perception of music
The opportunity to make new friends through young piano players
Also the participants can take part in the “ClaviCologne” concerts.
During the workshop concerts they can show the results of their work at the master classes with the professors.
For the academic concerts in the evenings they can register with a piece of max. 10 min. length, which should be prepared on concert level. The artistic director has the right of choice to select the best candidates. The academic concerts will be held in the Konzertsaal of the Hochschule für Musik in Aachen, in Castle Maro in Belgium.
